Nantucket is a three-by-fifteen-mile island, thirty miles out to sea. 
 

All wedding festivities will take place in the historic village of Siasconset ('Sconset), on the eastern end of the island. This is where Ted grew up and where Katie and Ted fell in love.
 

For the wedding, we've tried to capture the experience of hanging out in 'Sconset summer after summer by reserving several charming houses with rooms available for guests to rent. Right now it's looking to be around $450 for the weekend, Friday-Sunday. It's our hope to accommodate almost everyone right here in 'Sconset. Just bring a book, walk to the lighthouse, solve a puzzle, enjoy an adult beverage, slurp an oyster or two, and watch two people you love get married. We understand that not everyone is ready for the communal life. If you're past the age of being fun, additional accommodations within walking distance are available at the Summer House Cottages. Fair warning—they’re owned by quite the character—but they're conveniently located and offer ocean views.

Of course, VRBO and Airbnb rentals are also available in 'Sconset as well as island-wide. While we're partial to 'Sconset, you can't really go wrong anywhere you choose on Nantucket.
 

Most traditional hotel options are located in Town, near the ferry terminals, approximately a 15-minute drive from 'Sconset. These are great if you'd prefer your own space and want to explore downtown Nantucket (check out our "On Island" section for ideas.). Every one of these places is a charming little gem:
